Sea Girt Elementary School is a community public school and school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Sea Girt, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States.

As of the 2007-08 school year, the district's one school had an enrollment of 164 students and 17.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.6.[1]

The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[3]

For grades 9-12, Sea Girt's public school students attend Manasquan High School, as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Manasquan Public Schools. Manasquan High School also serves students from Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Brielle, Lake Como, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights who attended Manasquan High School as part of sending/receiving relationships with their respective districts.[4][5]

For the 2005-06 school year, Sea Girt Elementary School was one of four schools in New Jersey recognized by the United States Department of Education as a recipient of the national Blue Ribbon Schools Program,[6][7] the highest official level of recognition that an American school can receive.[8][9]
